1 Peter 5:6-7 “6Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,

7Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”

It is written in Psalm 55:22-23 – “22Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).

23But You, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of destruction; men of blood and treachery shall not live out half their days. But I will trust in, lean on, and confidently rely on You.”

Hallelujah! Isn’t God’s Word wonderful?!!! It is if you really take it to heart and believe it.

Jesus said “24For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” Mark 11:24

He told several people that it was by their faith that they were healed, too. So, if we really do believe what is written in the bible, then we will have it.

Do you want the Lord God to defeat your enemies? Are they a burden to you? They are to me. So let’s cast them onto the Lord, according to Psalm 55:22-23 above, and let God take care of them for us!

Are the burdens you’ve been carrying finally too much? Have you decided they’re bigger than you are and are you ready to give them to God? Write them down on a list and bring your list with you to the altar of our Lord, and let’s pray about them together.

Do you believe what Jesus said in Matthew 18:19 – “Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.” ?

It is written in Proverbs 16:3 “3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.”

Did you notice above if we “roll our works upon the Lord, He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will”? How much better could we get? If our thoughts are agreeable to His will, how much better could we get?

Proverbs 14:12 – “There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.”

God’s will is much better than we could ever imagine for ourselves! Our feeble imaginations are not as great as His! Look around you at what He’s created! Have you ever prayed to the Lord and then He answered your prayer in a much grander fashion than you dreamed of? God is good, and He has much bigger things in store for us if we would humble ourselves and roll ALL our works upon Him!

Proverbs 16:9 “9 A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.”

So, in essence, humble yourself before our Lord, roll your works upon Him, believe and trust in Him, and He will exalt you. He will direct your steps and make them sure, and He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will “so shall your plans be established and succeed.”
