•Blanco State Park – Romper Rangers: September 3 and every Thursday in September. This class is a relaxed and inviting experience for parents and young children (ages 1-5) to enjoy nature together (no more than three children per adult please). Activities will include walks, crafts, and hearing stories. Check in at Park Headquarters for directions to class location. Class begins at 10am. For more information please call: 830-833-4333.

•The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: Auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be held on Sunday, September 13. These auditions are for anyone in the community interested in participating in this production. There are speaking parts for both children and adults. •26th Annual Golf Tournament of the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center: Saturday, Oct 24, at Delaware Springs Golf Course, Burnet. There are several different sponsorship levels or donors can choose to offer in kind donations for our Silent Auction. If you’re a golfer and wish to play, sign up now as there is a 144 player limit. Burnet, Blanco, Llano and Lampasas: The Crisis Center never closes and provides emergency services and a safe haven from family violence and sexual abuse – an average of 500 face to face services provided per month and almost 2,000 people per year call the hotline seeking help.
