Seventh Grade Sends the Bulldogs to the Doghouse

The Blanco Panthers Middle School football teams faced the Brady Bulldogs on Thursday, October 18.

The first to take the field was the seventh grade teams. The Panthers hit early and strong as they went on to take the victory with a final score 30-0.

Darren White and Jessie Ruiz both had one touchdown while Tim Goodman had two touchdowns.

Ian Ray, Sam Isenberg and Jessie Ruiz each had a two point conversion.

Isenberg also had an interception and Goodman had a fumble recovery.

The eighth grade teams were next to take the field, and while not starting out as strong as the seventh grade, they played a tough game and managed to get a touchdown and a two point conversion, the final score was Blanco 8, Brady 40.

The touchdown was made by James Perez and the extra point was made by Tanner Rogers.

Byrun Scheidt had a fumble recovery.

The Panthers will travel to Junction on Thursday to face the Eagles. Games are scheduled to start at 5:00 with the seventh grade followed by the eighth grade at 6:30.
