Hospital welcomes Dr. Clegg to medical staff
Hill Country Memorial Hospital welcomed dermatologist Cynthia Olfers Clegg, MD, to its medical staff.
Dr. Clegg is associated with Michael W. Braden, MD, and Michael J. Majors, MD, at Hill Country Dermatology.
She graduated valedictorian from Fredericksburg High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. She received her doctorate in 1997 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School of Dallas. She completed her internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Clegg has worked as a research assistant and volunteer faculty member at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, as a staff physician at the VA Hospital in Dallas and Fort Worth, and for the past eight years, as a physician at North Dallas Dermatology Associates. Dr. Clegg was selected by D Magazine as one of the “Best Doctors in Dallas” in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
“It’s wonderful to be back in Fredericksburg,” she said. “It’s great to come back and join Dr. Braden and Dr. Majors in providing dermatology services to the people in Fredericksburg and the surrounding Hill Country.”

Hospital welcomes Dr. Codiga to medical staff
Hill Country Memorial Hospital is welcoming internal medicine physician Michael A. Codiga, MS, MD, to its medical staff.
Dr. Codiga is a Diplomate of the American College of Internal Medicine. He received his master of science in exercise physiology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1985. He received his doctorate of medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 1997, and he completed his residency at the University of California at Davis and the San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, California in 2000.
His focus and beliefs are based on the preventative medicine and wellness model, and he strives to educate and promote this lifestyle to his patients. He offers same-day sick visits, and he diagnoses and treats complex chronic medical conditions.
He specializes in comprehensive adult medicine consisting of preventative medicine, longevity, exercise and weight management; thyroid and endocrine disorders; diabetes; colon cancer screenings; stress management; depression/anxiety management; lipid/cholesterol management; kidney and lung disease; cardiovascular disease; gastrointestinal disorders; executive physicals; impotence/men’s health and hormones/women’s health.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Texas Medical Association and the Hill Country County Medical Society.
He and his wife, Kelly, and their four children moved to Fredericksburg from Cody, Wyoming.

Hospital welcomes dentist to medical staff
Hill Country Memorial Hospital is welcoming Jamie B. Lindsay, DDS, to its medical staff.
Dr. Lindsay, a dentist, is part of Fredericksburg Dentistry and is practicing at 205 W. Windcrest, Suite 210, who is associated with Thomas E. Schmidt, DDS.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the California Institute of Technology. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he earned his dentistry degree in 2008. Dr. Lindsay graduated valedictorian of his class and received awards in clinical dentistry, general dentistry, esthetic dentistry, endodontics, oral pathology and implantology. Dr. Lindsay received additional training at the Dental Emergency Clinic at the University of Texas Health Science Center. In addition, he has over 100 hours of continuing education in the field of dental implants.
His office welcomes complex restorative cases, dental emergencies and medical compromised patients. He has training in oral surgery, TMJ therapy, sedation dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, and sees patients of all ages.
Dr. Lindsay holds membership with the following dental organizations: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Heart of Texas District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Association of Endodontists, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Fraternity.
He and his wife, Amy, have two children and are active members in the Fredericksburg community.
