Blanco Ranch Rodeo Promises Plenty of Fun
Wednesday, September 16, 2009 • Posted September 15, 2009

Mark your calendar for the 10th Annual Blanco Ranch Rodeo and Dance to be held on September 26, 2009, at Yett Memorial Park. This annual Hill Country event promises plenty of family fun, good food, great music, and a real ranch rodeo. Kids will enjoy participating in the mutton-bustin’ during the rodeo. The Blanco Masonic Lodge will be selling great food and the Yett Park Committee will be selling drinks for all ages. After the rodeo, stick around and dance into the night to the music of Mike Cowan and Wooden Nickel Band. The dance is free with your rodeo ticket, so don’t leave after the rodeo – just go on over and dance!

Rodeo kicks off at 6:30pm. Band will start playing around 9:30pm and will continue until 1:00am. Admission to the rodeo is just $10.00 for adults; children 12 and under get in free. Parking is also free.

Bring your family and friends for a great night of Texas Hill Country fun!

Yett Memorial Park is located on Hwy 281, just south of the Blanco city limits. All proceeds from this family event go to the preservation and enhancement of the Park. For more information, contact the Blanco Chamber of Commerce at 830-833-5101.
