The Blanco Junior Varsity Football team clinched a win against Florence on Thursday, September 10. On a rain drenched field, the Panthers beat the Buffaloes 16-0.

Striking first for the Panthers, Colton Childress ran 12 yards for the touchdown. On a quarterback keeper, Sam Isenberg ran the ball for the two point conversion colliding with a Buffalo at the goal line in a spray of rainwater.

Starting the second half, Childress again rumbled in to the end zone for six points. Tim Goodman rushed for the two point conversion.

The Blanco defense was solid throughout the game. Tanner Sanchez and Layne Lassberg both recovered Florence fumbles for the Panthers.
