Wednesday, April 2, 2008 • Posted April 1, 2008

Tommy Brandt, of Sebring, FL, labeled as the “Heart of Christian Country Music,” will hold a free concert Sunday, April 13, at 6:00 PM, in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Lutheran Church, 703 Main Street, in Blanco, TX.

Brandt is an award-winning singer/songwriter that many say is the heart and voice of today’s Christian Country Music. This central Florida native has had his share of success in the radio industry with his first 5 radio releases topping the Christian Country Charts. Each have the upbeat sounds of today’s mainstream country with Christian family values.

Brandt has shared the stage with many great artists such as Del Way, James Payne, Jimmy Wayne, Melanie Walker, The Fox Brothers, Porter Wagoner, Randy Owen (Alabama), The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Lonestar, Emerson Drive, Blue County, Brian Littrell (Backstreet Boys) and Josh Turner to name a few. He has appeared on CMT Loaded, Gospel Music Channel, the Jimmy Snow Gospel TV Show, the Tennessee Morning show with Charlie Chase, Saturday Night Gospel Show in Texas and the TCT Network. He has live concert videos that air on several networks including Sky Angel, GMT, GAC, GMC, CMT Loaded and Family Network.

Don’t think this success has gone to his head though, Tommy Brandt is one of the most humble, helpful, and ministry-driven artists in the business. He is recognized as being an Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has dedicated his talents to serving God. The Lord continues to open doors and has allowed him the opportunity to sing and minister at several hundred dates this past year. God is definitely using this man to make a difference.

Brandt is married to his beautiful wife, Michelle, has a daughter named Amanda, and a son Tommy Brandt II. They have been on the road full-time serving the Lord since November of 2003. God’s blessings are apparent on their ministry and their family continues to always let the Lord lead them in all of their endeavors.

The public is invited to this one-of-a-kind concert for the community of Blanco. Call 830-833-4771 or email trinity@moment.net for more information. Refreshments will be served after the concert and a love offering will be received.
