Blanco Girls Shut Down Wimberley on Opening Day

On Saturday, March 29, Blanco's Major League Girls Team, The Angels with Attitude, played against the Wimberley #1 team following Wimberley's Opening ceremony. The Angels consist of girls in the 5th-7th grade and are coached by Roland Mancha and Michael Seales

Although Wimberley scored first, the Blanco girls came back in the second inning to take the lead and continued to be the leader for the remainder of the game. The Angels with Attitude won 13-7 and played 6 innings. Meaghan Seales was on the mound for the entire game and pitched a good opening game. Strong bats came from Taylor Guinn, Meaghan Seales, and Leah Cloud. The girls had a few errors that they will be

improving on for next weeks game.

Opening Day for Blanco is set for Saturday, April 5th.

The Angels will be playing the Johnson City #2 team

at home for their Opening Day game.
