Panthers Take Three More Wins in Three Games

Blanco 15 Sonora 1

The Panthers traveled to Sonora and came away with a 15-1 victory to go 2-0 in district play.

Ross McCormick tossed a four hit complete game striking out 10 to improve his record to 3-2.

Justin Warner had the big stick going four for four with two home runs, scoring three runs and knocking in four. Lance Gottardy was three for four, Kevin Gray had two hits. Cory Dowlearn and Chantell Young each blasted their first home run of the year.

Lance Gottardy tossed a no-hitter and k'd six to improve his record to 3-0.

Ross McCormick went four for five with a home run and four RBI’s.

Chantell Young continues to swing a hot stick as he was three for four with triple and four RBI’s. Austin Thompson was three for three scoring five runs, Justin Warner, Austin DeShane, Ethan Evans, and Dal Dechert all singled.

Blanco 19 St Mary's Hall 9

Kevin Gray and Justin Warner combined on the bump to shut down St Mary's, Gray picked up his first win on the year.

Ross McCormick brought the lumber going three for four and hitting his fourth home run on the year and plating four runs. Kevin Gray and Justin Warner each had three singles, Warner knocked in five runs, Chantell Young was two for four. Lance Gottardy, Shelby Moore, Austin Thompson, and Ethan Evan all had a hit.

Blanco is 13-8 on the year and 3-0 in district play. Blanco will host Mason this Saturday, there will be one varsity game starting at 5:00.
