Young cowboys and cowgirls from Blanco and surrounding areas saddled up their horses and hauled to Blanco Cowboy Church on Sunday, September 27, to “Ride For Jesus” in the 4th Annual Youth PlayDay. After attending the Sunday morning Worship Service, where they joined the Ryon Krause Praise and Worship Team singing hymns and praises to the Lord, they heard the Word of God preached by Pastor Frank Spillman. Having paid their entry fees to the Lord, they strolled outside with their families under the oak trees to enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch served by Riley’s BBQ.

The PlayDay was then kicked off under the awesome leadership of Blanco Cowboy Church members Tom and Mary Ayers, assisted by the Church family, who helped fill the many roles to make the PlayDay a success.

When the dust settled late that afternoon, the Awards were presented to the winners. Even though only five youth earned their All-Around Champion Gist Silversmith buckles and many others were awarded their saddle blankets, head stalls and colorful halters, as first thru fourth place; all of the participating youth rode home with their families as Champions for Jesus.
