Jorma Ray Reeser

Jorma Ray Reeser, 22, died in an automobile accident in Dover, Delaware, on Sunday, October 18. Jorma was the son of Carlyle and Ardeth Reeser of Blanco and Belize, and the grandson of Louise and the late Lyle Reeser, formerly of Blanco. He was a 2005 graduate of Blanco High School, attended Austin Community College, and had served in the US Air Force.

Jorma will be buried in his native Belize, and the family plans a memorial service in Blanco upon their return. Service details will be announced.

Jorma’s family appreciates the condolences they have already received from the many friends in Blanco who share their love for Jorma and grief at his passing.

The family of Jorma Reeser invites you to join them in a celebration of Jorma’s life on Saturday, November 14, at 2:00pm at the Blanco United Methodist Church, 61 Pecan Street, Blanco, TX. Jorma died in an automobile accident in Dover, DE on October 18, 2009. He was buried in his native Belize on November 1, 2009.

Jorma graduated from Blanco High School in 2005, where he was a proud member of the Panther Band. After graduation, Jorma enrolled in Austin Community College and later enlisted in the United States Air Force.

Jorma was the son of Carlyle and Ardeth Reeser, who live in Blanco. He is also survived by his grandmother, Louise Reeser; grandfather, James Trapp of Belize City; brothers Deon Burgess of Bacalar, Mexico, Earl Burgess of Belmopan, Belize, Edward Burgess Barona of Tampa, Florida, and a large extended family in Belize and the United States.

Memorial donations may be made to the Blanco Panther Band Boosters.
