Malcolm Beck to Speak in Blanco
Wednesday, October 21, 2009 • Posted October 20, 2009

Master Gardeners of Blanco County are sponsoring a public program by the organic farmer himself, Malcolm Beck. Malcolm is the author of numerous books on organic gardening, including the new edition of The Garden-Ville Method. For decades, he has focused on how to achieve and permanently maintain the finest soil quality.

Since selling Garden-Ville in 1998, Malcolm continues to write, “design new stuff,” and give talks and demonstrations all over the country. He says, “Composting is nature’s way of recycling,” and believes compost is the best product for mulching.

Come hear him speak at the Blanco United Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 10th, at 1:00pm. The Master Gardeners will provide refreshments. The program is open to the public. Please join us for a delightful and informative afternoon.

Call the Texas AgriLife office at 830-868-7167 if you have any questions.
