Blanco Chamber Welcomes New Director

The Blanco Chamber of Commerce invites the community to stop by the Chamber to meet the new Executive Director, Penny Thomas.

Penny comes from the Houston area where she worked as a coordinator for the Greater Houston Partnership (Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development and International Business Organization) for five years. Penny, her husband Scott, and their two children relocated to Blanco this summer.

They look forward to raising their children in Blanco. Her parents and her brother and his family have lived in Blanco for several years. Penny grew up in the Hill Country and she is glad to be back.

She already loves Blanco and is glad to be out of the hustle and bustle of Houston, and especially glad to be out of the traffic!

The Blanco Chamber Board of Directors is very excited to have Penny in this position.

She brings a lot of energy, excitement, organization, and knowledge to the Chamber. If you have ever thought about volunteering, now is the time! Stop by and find out how you can be a part of the new and exciting happenings at the Chamber.

Looking forward, on November 19 the Chamber will hosts its next Mixer at Red Corral Ranch from 5:00 - 7:00 pm It is sure to be a fun-filled evening and you will also be able to meet Penny while networking at this event. Don’t forget to bring your business card!
