Recycle! Recycle! Recycle! Texas Recycle Day is November 15. The Girl Scout Troop 1440 will partner with the Blanco Lions Club and Keep Blanco Beautiful to recycle aluminum cans and tabs.

Nan Mikes with the Blanco Lions Club will visit at the Scout meeting on October 28 at the Masonic Hall to inform the girls about the Lion Club's programs and why it is important to recycle. The tabs have gone to the Ronald McDonald House and enabled families to stay there while they have loved ones in the hospital.

Please start saving your cans and tabs, or if you already have cans to recycle please call Brownie leader Darlene McGill at 830-229-5060 for more information. They will make arrangements to collect the cans.
