Dorothy Clark receives “2009 Outstanding Community College Business Officer” award at the annual Community College Business Officers conference in Palm Springs, California on November 3, 2009.

The Community College Business Officers (CCBO) association mission is to provide educational and professional support, networking opportunities and other resources to help business office professionals better prepare for successful roles in community colleges in the US and in Canada.

CCBO recognizes excellence in the profession.

Dorothy was honored to receive this award but even greater reward for her was being part of community college business professionals dedicated to serving students and their communities.

Dorothy has worked for the Dallas County Community College District as a business administrator in their non-traditional distance learning program for 35 years.

Dorothy is the daughter of Ora Kneupper, sister of Mary Anna Lindeman and 1958 graduate of Blanco High School.
