The Mist

Keith–I’m not always a fan of Stephen King movies, but I am of this one! This film is a total trip and takes me back to the times of the Twilight Zone; in which this film would make an awesome episode of. A heavy mist rolls in that traps people where they are (grocery store) unless they dare to venture out in it (bad idea). This film is full of suspense & gore as things in the mist try to get in & people try to get out, and the ending is 100% Twilight Zone. 3 paws.

August Rush

Noel–Here’s another great family film that is inspirational and full of good music. A young boy is raised in a boy’s home and always feels a connection to music and that his parents will come for him one day. The story shifts gears to how he came to be and the story of his musical parents and the circumstances that left them unaware of his existence.

Great music and hope bring this movie together in the end and complete his journey as his mother searches for him and music brings them together. 3 paws.
