On Saturday, April 12, the Blanco White Sox coach pitch team played against the Johnson City Mets. The score is not officially kept because this division is still instructional.

This year "coach pitch" has changed to "machine pitch". The boys and girls are still learning how to hit balls being thrown to them from a machine rather than a person.

It appears that first grader, Hunter Toler, has mastered the art of hitting. During this weekend’s game, Hunter hit an out of the park home-run out of right field. That was one happy player crossing home plate.
