This week we are reviewing Four Christmases, with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. Four Christmases is about a couple who enjoy spending their time with each other around the Holidays and make up "noble" excuses why they can't make it home for Christmas to spend time with their families. This Christmas they plan on going to Fiji, until their flight gets canceled because of fog. They could have just flown out the next day, except for the fact that a news reporter decided to interview them to see how they were handling the fact that their trip had been postponed. Sure enough, both of their families see them on TV and call and demand that they come to their homes for Christmas. Since both of their parents are divorced, it turns out to be four different stops.

After watching their first stop, I completely understood why they lied to their families and wanted to spend the Holidays by themselves. Both of their families are a little disfunctional, but it makes for some really funny moments. There is one part of the movie when they go to church with her mother that was a little weird and it just wasn't that funny, but other than that, there are a ton of laughs and my parents even enjoyed watching it with us; my mom wanted to watch it again (which is really saying a lot!!). 3 paws
