The Easley Family of Austin, Texas are the proud new owners of Albert Ice House and the small town of Albert, Texas. Brandon Easley was unanimously nominated by the Easley family as Town Manager. Brandon is a Ranch Real Estate agent in Austin. They are excited to be there, and about the possibilities of the future. There are plans in the near future to start renovation on the 85 year old dance hall, with hopes of attracting musicians and booking special events, such as weddings, and to have food service.

Brandon had visited Albert many times in the past few years, and finally decided he had to have the place. Easley said, “It has such a draw on people. I believe it is the family atmosphere and the flavor of the local people that make it that way. My immediate goal is to get to know and understand the locals, and for the tourist to realize what is special about these people. I want to keep the family atmosphere and the impromptu cook-outs, pot luck, jam sessions, and the pickers that make this place so much fun.”
