Lions Club Welcomes Blanco Chamber of Commerce to Meeting

The Blanco Chamber of Commerce attended the last Blanco Lions Club meeting on Thursday, December 3. They presented the Lions Club with a program describing their latest projects.

They reported that they have been busy with Blanco Lavender Lights and many other projects. They also expressed the many benefits of being a member, one of which includes weekly email advertisements about your upcoming events within your club, business, or organization.

The Blanco Lions Club observed International Leo Day on December 5. The Leos Club, a junior branch of the Lions Club, serve in and around Blanco. They have helped put the lights up at Bindseil Park and in the Pecan Bottom as well.

They participate in the Annual Keep Blanco Beautiful Trash-Off, Stuff the Bus, and many other projects. These kids work really hard and serve our community, so make sure and thank them if you see them out and about.
