Betty Helen Rhodes

Betty Helen Rhodes, age 83, passed away on January 3, 2010 at her home in Blanco. She was born on July 6, 1926 in Alamo, Texas to Leonard and Helen Davis. Betty worked as a secretary for a construction company, she worked at Head Start for 10 years and she worked with her daughter, Donna, at Better Days Consignment Shop in Blanco.

Betty is survived by her husband, Malcolm Rhodes and four daughters, Marie Anderson of Alma, Arkansas, Barbara Gaiser of Garner, North Carolina, Mary Alice Wallace of New Braunfels, and Donna Buck of Blanco. She is also survived by one step-son, Darrell Lee Rhodes of Elmendorf and two step-daughters, Cynthia Riggs of New Braunfels and Tracy Karnes of Elmendorf. Betty is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, January 8, 2010 from 2-6pm at the home of Malcolm Rhodes, 323 Carmel Drive, Blanco. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Austin Grace Hospice, Attn: Patient Fund Account, 7800 Shoal Creek Blvd. Suite 116 W., Austin, Texas 78757. Arrangements provided by Crofts Funeral Home in Blanco.
