•Llano Uplift Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution will meet Friday, Jan. 22, at River City Grille in Marble Falls. Guest speaker, Martha Hartzog. Reservations required for this luncheon meeting. Cost is $14 and can be made by contacting Susan Doughtie, 830-598-9247. Meeting time is 9:30am for coffee and greeting; business meeting and program 10:00am. Luncheon at noon. Anyone interested in membership please contact: Mrs. Vallie Terrell 830-598-6376.

•2010 Relay for Life Kick-Off Party: Tuesday, January 26, 6:00pm, at the PEC Headquarters Auditorium in Johnson City. Come and join us to help kick off the 2010 Blanco County Relay! We will also have information about teams.

•Twin Sister Hermann Sons Lodge # 138 meeting - Twins Sisters School house on Sunday February 7 at 2:30pm. Menu: chili, vegetarian chili, tamales, Spanish rice and a variety of desserts. All members are encouraged to attend.

Saturday, February 13 from 5:30 to 8:00pm at Gem of the Hills in Blanco. 5th grade girls and younger with their father, grandfather, big brother or adult family friend are welcome to come to our annual fundraiser.
