Blanco Beats Fredericksburg Heritage

The Panthers lost a rough battle against the Cole Cougars on Tuesday, January 19; 34-67. The teams district record is now 2-4. Leading scorer was sophomore Zach Barnes; Tanner Rogers, Matt Pepper and Clayton Green each added five points and Sam Isenberg made four. Matt Pepper jumped high for 13 rebounds, while Zach added 8 rebounds and 8 blocked shots.

On Friday, January 22, the Panther team rallied for a victory against Fredericksburg Heritage; leading 20-15 at halftime and finishing 41-35.

Tanner pumped in 13 points to lead the team in scoring. Clayton, Zach, and Dustin Green all contributed 5 points; Dillon Luke and Sam Isenberg added 4 each. Matt again led the team with 7 rebounds, while Zach and Tanner followed with 6 each.

Come out and support the Panther basketball teams as they begin the second round of district games.
