Wednesday, February 3, 2010 • Posted February 2, 2010

The Albert Community Club held its first meeting of 2010 on Saturday, January 30. Twenty-five members and visitors gathered around the wood stove for an afternoon of fun. Following a short business meeting, a potluck supper of Mexican food was enjoyed by all attending.

Visitors and new members are welcome to join club members at any of the meetings. The club meets bi-monthly at 2:30 to visit, play cards or dominoes, and to conduct business relating to the historic school at Albert.

LBJ attended the Williams Creek School. The school is adjacent to the Albert Dancehall that is currently being renovated by its new owner, Brandon Easley.

The next meeting is scheduled for March 28. For more information about the club, call 830-644-2651.
