The Ballet Folklorico from Mexico City dazzled the Alamo City on its recent performance at Municipal Auditorium. Mr. and Mrs. Chalon Jackson with daughters Alexis and Emma of Johnson City, Angela Wollmann and son Hunter of Kerrville, and C.A. Rust III enjoyed the function, along with dinner at Acenar on the Paseo del Rio.

A final walk through of the old Floresville High School edifice was held on the day prior to its demolition on February 1. C.A. Rust III was blessed to visit with his former English IV AP Literature students, his Student Council members, and English Club members in Room 13 where touching remembrances were shared. A weekly column in the Floresville Chronicle-Journal titled “The Halls of FHS” was compiled by C.A. for a long while.
