Johnson Retires; Morgan to Assume Position

Joe Johnson (left), Chief Deputy for the Blanco County Sheriff’s department retired February 15, 2010. Mr. Johnson has been with the Blanco County Sheriff’s department for 17 years and became Chief Deputy in September of 2006.

Bob Morgan will be installed as Chief Deputy upon Mr. Johnson’s retirement. Bob has been with the Blanco County Sheriffs department for 9 years.
