Get ready for the 11th Annual Keep Blanco Beautiful City Wide Trade Off Day, Saturday, April 10 from 9am to noon.

It is a great time to get all of the items out of your house and out of your yards that you want to be rid of.

You can take your ‘junk’ to the city yard on Jones Road between 8am and noon. Be sure to take your city utility bill with you!

As in the past there will be curb side pick up for anyone who is unable to carry there items to the yard. You can call City Hall at 833-4525 to be place on the list for pick up.

Youth groups wishing to participate need to start signing up to clean up the city easements, parks and school grounds. Contact your group leader and give them your names and shirt sizes.

On April 24, the Blanco County BOPA Recycling Day will be held at the county yard on Blanco Avenue from 8am to noon. BOPA stands for Batteries, Oil, Paint and Antifreeze. You will also be able to take your electronics at that time.

Come out and help your fellow Blanco citizens clean up our town and make it a nicer place to live!
