Rain Bird Gallery Offers Craft Classes
Wednesday, March 3, 2010 • Posted March 2, 2010

Rain Bird Gallery, owned by Becky Walker, will open a Fiber Arts section in the gallery soon. Maureen Bester, ATR, will begin teaching beginning sewing, knitting and crocheting at the gallery.

Maureen has taken two studio areas in her studies to become an Art Educator and an Art Therapist. These include Drawing and Painting and Fiber Arts. She adds, “I grew up knitting and crocheting at my grandmother’s side. It helped me learn early that I could accomplish things. I would like to pass that feeling on to others.”

If you would like to arrange lessons, please call Rain Bird Gallery at 830-833-5900 between Wednesday and Sunday.
