"Walk Thru the Bible" Instructor Announced
Wednesday, March 3, 2010 • Posted March 2, 2010

Dino Maisano will be the instructor for Walk Thru the Bible – The Old Testament to be hosted by Blanco United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 6, 9:00am – 4:00pm. He will present a fun-filled, action-paced seminar that helps attendees to reconnect with the biblical characters, geographical movements in history, and the message and meaning of scripture – scripture that is as relevant today as when it was written.

Maisano has been an associate instructor with Walk Thru the Bible since 2002, teaching both adult’s and children’s seminars throughout the state of Texas. He has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Bible and Ministry from Abilene Christian University.

After working with all age groups for over fourteen years as an Associate Pastor in southern California, Maisano re-located to the Texas Hill Country in 2004 and now serves as the Campus Administrator for an active senior living Christian retirement community in Burnet (The Woodlands at Burnet) with Baptist Memorials Ministries. Maisano and his wife, DeAnne, live in Burnett with their six children.

The seminar is open to all over the age of 10 years wanting to learn or rediscover the Old Testament. For more information, go to www.blancoumc.org or call the Blanco United Methodist Church office at 830.833.5030. $20 covers materials and lunch. Daycare is not provided.
