Helen Maxine Sultemeier

Helen Maxine Sultemeier, 90, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Johnson City. Maxine was born in Johnson City to Albert Burleson Stevenson and Katie Haley Stevenson.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Otto Richard Sultemeier; and brother, J.B. Stevenson. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Kay Williams of Johnson City; son, Perry Sultemeier and wife Cindy of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Cody Swope, Kimberly Terry, Zane Swope, Cindy Kay Witt, and Brent Sultemeier; four great-grandchildren, Candice Rudasill, Katie Terry and Noah and Caleb Swope. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends. Maxine will be remembered as a beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Crofts Funeral Home, Johnson City. Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010 at Post Oak Cemetery, RR 2721, Johnson City. Memorial contributions may be made to Post Oak Cemetery Association.
