SEGUIN – Bradley Walker of Blanco was recently inducted in to the Delta Mu Delta honor society.

Walker is one of six Texas Lutheran University students who were recently inducted into the national honor society of business administration.

Walker is an accounting major and the son of Paul and Mary Walker.

Delta Mu Delta is a national organization founded in 1913. The purpose of the organization is to promote higher scholarship in training for business and to recognize and reward scholastic attainment in business subjects. Delta Mu Delta membership is the highest national recognition a business student can earn. It is a lifetime recognition.

To qualify for membership, students must be junior or senior business majors in the top 20 percent of all students in the College of Professional Studies at TLU, according to Dr. Sally Cook, associate professor of business administration and the faculty adviser of TLU’s chapter of the honor society.

Only schools with business department accreditation from the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs are eligible to become Delta Mu Delta chapters.

TLU is an exclusively undergraduate university of the liberal arts, sciences and professional studies located in Seguin, 35 miles east of San Antonio and 50 miles south of Austin. For more information about TLU, visit the university’s Web site at www.tlu.edu.
