Jews for Jesus to Speak
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 • Posted March 23, 2010

Stan Meyer of Jews for Jesus will speak at First Baptist Church on Easter Sunday morning. Jews for Jesus uses creative methods and contemporary issues to present the message that Jesus is the Messiah to Jewish people around the world.

Meyer is the leader of the Los Angeles branch of Jews for Jesus. He was born and raised in San Antonio. His Messianic-Jewish mother led him to a personal faith in the Messiah, Jesus. Stan graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and following a call to bring the Messiah to his Jewish people, also earned a Master of Arts in Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He and his wife, Holly, previously served with Jews for Jesus in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In May 2005, the Meyers flew to Jiangxi province of China where they adopted their daughter, Carrie-Fu.

Stan will lead in a Passover Seder at 9:30am, and will speak about the resurrection power of the Messiah-Jesus during the 10:45 Worship service.
