Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Criminal Cases

• Matthew Donnelle Parker, of San Antonio, was fined $144.00 for unsafe speed on Dec 15, 2007 (DPS).

• Matthew Donnelle Parker, of San Antonio, was fined $181.00 for failure to report an accident at once on Dec 15, 2007 (DPS).

• Kevin Dewayne Welsh, of Fredericksburg, was fined $180.00 for speeding on Nov 16, 2007 (DPS).

• Roy Alexander Moran, of Kyle, was fined $120.00 for no medical certificate on Nov 7, 2007 (CVE).

• Mario Ramirez, of San Antonio, was fined $144.00 for expired commercial motor vehicle inspection on Aug 29, 2007 (CVE).

• Martin Soto Salazar, of San Marcos, was fined $211.00 for speeding on Aug 25, 2007 (DPS).

• Gabriel Baldazo, of Houston, was fined $113.00 for overwidth on Aug 5, 2007 (DPS).

• Gabriel Baldazo, of Houston, was fined $323.00 for no liability insurance on Aug 5, 2007 (DPS).

• Leilani Lynn Alexander, of Copperas Cove, was fined $211.00 for speeding on May 27, 2007 (DPS).

These reports were filed between Apr 17 and Apr 23.

Apr 17

• Information. 9:48 AM. A caller gave information to an officer.

• Vandalism. 7:15 PM. Tires on a bicycle were reportedly slashed. An officer reported that the call was unfounded.

• Information. 7:41 PM. An individual requested information about filing a restraining order.

Apr 19

• Reckless Driver. 7:52 AM. A small car was swerving all over US 281, southbound into Blanco.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 1:01 PM. Blanco City Hall.

• Information / Past Report. 4:09 PM. A caller made a stolen property report in 2006 and reportedly found some of it on sale in a store. The stolen property was recovered.

• Alarm. 9:26 PM. Accidental activation of panic alarm.

Apr 20

• Traffic Accident. 3:34 AM. Loop 163 at Iron Horse Saloon. Two subjects were arrested by the responding officer.

Apr 21

• Livestock Complaint. 9:37 AM. Two donkeys in the caller’s front yard.

• Alarm. 1:01 PM. Car Wash.

• Motorist Assist. 6:51 PM. Wrecker requested for vehicle on US 281.

Apr 23

• Disturbance. 3:22 AM. A subject reportedly hit the caller and left the residence. An officer attempted to locate the subject but could not.

• Case Followup. 7:58 AM. Blanco Middle School.

• Hit and Run / Minor Traffic Accident. 4:01 PM. Blanco High School.

• Disturbance (Verbal). 5:02 PM. A customer was causing trouble at Blanco Ice House and an officer was requested. The officer arrived to find the customer had left the area.

Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

These reports were filed between Apr 17 and Apr 23.

Apr 17

• Road Hazard. 6:03 AM. A large sign was reported in the southbound lane of US 281, between Berkley’s and the rest area. An officer cleared the roadway.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 7:10 AM. An officer resolved a family situation.

• Traffic Hazard. 3:49 PM. A mobile home on a truck was losing shingles all over the roadway on US 281. An officer stopped the truck and repairs were made.

• Verbal Disturbance. 4:47 PM. Comal County reported an assault in Lake of the Hills.

Apr 18

• Threat. 9:16 AM. A subject made threats to the caller. An officer issued a criminal trespass warning to the subject.

• Burn Ban Violation. 12:15 PM. An officer issued a warning to subjects burning cedar in Landon’s Crossing.

• Information. 1:30 PM. A reportedly intoxicated subject was driving around the area.

• Suspicious Activity. 2:28 PM. A caller heard walkie-talkies nearby.

• Information. 3:23 PM. A caller requested a number be blocked from the phone. An officer gave the caller the call number.

Apr 19

• Smoke Investigation. 9:25 AM. A caller reported a lot of smoke to the southeast. An officer couldn’t see any smoke.

• Smoke Investigation. 10:34 AM. Smoke was seen behind Hill Country Cupboard. An officer reported that the fire was put out.

• Civil Standby. 10:37 AM. The caller went to pick up property out of a house but the new owner refused entry.

• Reckless Driver. 12:18 PM. A caller reported big dump trucks driving at a high rate of speed on CR 301. An officer spoke with the truck drivers.

• Traffic Accident. 12:36 PM. Motorcycle accident on CR 301 at the low water crossing.

• Stranded Motorist. 11:19 PM. US 281, north of Blanco, across from Brushy Top.

• Stranded Motorist. 11:37 PM. A truck with flashers was partially parked on the roadway on RR 165.

Apr 20

• Noise Complaint. 2:35 AM. A caller heard subjects firing semi-automatic guns and making a lot of other noise. An officer spoke with the subjects, who agreed to stop for the night.

• Possible Disturbance. 3:40 AM.

• Shots Fired. 4:34 AM. An officer was unable to locate the source.

Apr 21

• Rollover. 4:16 AM. A caller thought he saw a vehicle lose control and roll over on US 281. The call was transferred to Comal County.

• Livestock Complaint. 2:04 PM. Four boar goats out near US 281.

• Damage. 4:37 PM. on US 290 West, A piece of plywood flew out of the back of a pickup and broke the windshield on the caller’s motor home (with Johnson City PD).

• Disorderly Conduct. 9:13 PM. A bus load of students on RR 1623 reportedly threw items out the window and hit a vehicle traveling behind the bus, breaking the windshield. The incident occurred in Gillespie County.

Apr 22

• Traffic Accident. 8:36 AM. Johnson City High School. An officer transported a student to the school.

• Criminal Mischief. 10:54 AM. People kicked in the caller’s door. An officer attempted a criminal trespass warning.

• Loose Livestock. 11:54 AM. Goats on 962 W at RR 2077 were put back into the fence.

• Discharge of Firearm. 1:56 PM. A caller heard one shot fired and then people yelling.

• Animal Complaint. 3:28 PM. Two big dogs kept running across the highway near the Y.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 9:53 PM. A caller heard noise and movement outside and requested an officer check on it. An officer reported everything was OK.

Apr 23

• Prisoner Transfer. 12:40 AM. One inmate transferred to Kendall County for warrants.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 1:09 PM.

• Abandoned Vehicle / Citizen Assist. 9:22 PM. RR 1323.

Apr 22

• Traffic Accident. 7:48 AM. A vehicle rolled over on 473 West, 1 mile from US 281. Two occupants had minor injuries and were taken to San Antonio (with Blanco Co. SO).
