Viola Mary Sultemeier Lindig

Viola Mary Sultemeier Lindig of Hye, Tx, born on September 27, 1923, passed away on April 22, 2008 at the age of 84.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters, and her husband, Clifton Lindig of over 55 years. She is survived by one brother, Otto Sultemeier, one sister, Emma Lou Mohle, her two sons, Lester Lee Lindig and wife Karen Lindig of Horseshoe Bay, Tx and Bill Lindig and wife Peggy Lindig of Johnson City. Three Granddaughters, Leisa and Jimmy Davidson of Deer Park, Tx, Kayla and Michael Gale of Johnson City, Tx and Kayci Lindig and Donnie of Johnson City, Tx. Two Great Grandsons, Tyler Davidson of Deer Park,Tx and Grant Gale of Johnson City, Tx.

Viola, along with her husband Clifton, took great pride in their peach crops where they worked side by side for over 50 years growing and selling peaches for a living. Viola and Clifton were inseperable.

As a mother, wife, sister, Granny, and Great Grandmother, Viola will be greatly missed by all.

Pallbearers: Jimmy Davidson, Michael Gale, Al Lindig, James Sultemeier, Perry Sultemeier, and Victor Sultemeier.

Visitation was from 4 -7 pm Thursday 24th at Crofts Funeral Home, Johnson City, Tx.

Funeral will follow, Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Crofts Funeral Home.

Internment followed in Post Oak Cemetery.

Memorial may be given to: First United Methodist Church, Johnson City Post Oak Cemetery.
