Dear Editor,

During such a time of trying to change our Religious Beliefs and American Beliefs, I should like to take this moment to reflect on an unusually wonderful ray of hope and sunshine I experienced Friday morning, April 2.

Not knowing for sure what the hours at our Blanco National Bank were for the Easter weekend, I called and recieved a most precious message.

For those who did not hear the message, I am so sorry, as it was in such profound strength to remind all of us what the true meaning of this Glorious Season is all about. I would like to thank from the heart the great people of Blanco National Bank, who had the thoughtfulness and fortitude to relay the true meaning, actually Blessing Our Lord verbally in the message.

At a time when there are those who wish to change Happy Easter to Happy Spring or Merry Christmas to Happy Holidays, I find it so remarkable that the notion ever arises to make these changes.

This is our Great Country, God is our Father, and all the glorious examples of these two real Entities confirm such beliefs. Watch a glorious sunrise or sunset, or say the Pledge of Allegiance or listen to “Taps” at a service ...and try to think there isn’t wonder in our Country or our Creator.

Thank you Blanco National Bank for your commitment to the true religion of God and His place in all of our Lifes. The call I made to the bank just made me all the prouder to be a member of this great community.
