Spring Branch Baptist Church, 11750 US Hwy 281 N, is excited to announce their next monthly Gospel Sing on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 6:00pm. They have invited a young sibling group known as the Seale Sisters, who have turned heads everywhere they sing! Ages 16 to 25, the four sisters share a busy concert schedule and won the 2009 South Texas Gospel Music Association Horizon Award.

The Seale Sisters, Hannah (25), Elisabeth (22), Deborah (18) and Abigail (16) have been singing together as a group since 2001 and have amazing tight harmonies and a wonderful sound to grace the Sing. Their songs are uplifting and their hearts and testimonies are focused in praise to their Savior. See their pictures on their website at www.sealesisters.org and read the amusing story of how they started singing while milking their Jersey cow! Since then the Seale Sisters have traveled to Nashville for training at Ben Speer’s Stamps-Baxter School of Music in 2003 and 2004.

Spring Branch Baptist Church has a history of sponsoring great Gospel groups, beginning with an all-day Music Festival in October 2008 to dedicate their new building, located almost a mile north of the Spring Branch Post Office. The church is now having monthly sings, with 2010 thus far featuring The Jesus Train, Gene and LaVada Triesch, Haskell Cooley family, and Walter Plant. Future events include this month’s Seale Sisters, a Youth Celebration, White Dove, the Southern Grace Quartet, a Grand Ole Gospel Campfire Meetin,’ and Paul’s Journey. There are a variety of styles and great music every month!

The church invites the community to join in the fun at 6:00pm, Saturday night, singing a couple of gospel songs before the special artists take the stage from 6:15 to 8:00pm. During a break, door prizes will be given and a love offering taken up for the special guests. Refreshments will be available afterwards for all. For questions call 210-887-1009. Y’all come!
