Ever thought of going in to business growing tomatoes, watermelons, or other horticultural crops? The Texas AgriLife Extension Service - Blanco County invites you to participate in a webinar, focusing on Small Acreage Horticultural Crops, mainly Vegetable Crops.

The goal of this program is to assist in identifying and evaluating diversification strategies for risk mitigation and improved economics sustainability based on total management goals and optimal resource-base use.

Each webinar in the series will last for approximately two hours and will feature information on:

• Requirements for setting up a new horticultural business

• Crop economics

• Marketing strategies

• Sustainable production practices

• And more...

A live question/answer session will also provide access to some of the state’s leading horticultural authorities in these areas.

We will be hosting a live webinar broadcast at the Johnson City Library building, off of the Spur, at the entrance to the Johnson City High School, in Johnson City.
