The Blanco Panther softball team played the Poth Pirettes in a warmup game Friday, April 30. The Blanco team struggled with errors losing the low scoring game, 0-3. Hopefully, with their nervousness over, the Panthers will begin a strong playoff run.

The Blanco squad will travel to Lockhart Friday, May 7 to battle the Wiemar Wildcats in a best 2 of 3 series. Game time is set for 7:00pm. Then on Saturday, May 8, the Panthers and Wildcats meet again in Lockhart at 5:00pm for the second game of the series. If necessary, the teams will play a third game as a doubleheader Saturday following the 5 o'clock game.
