Twin Sisters Hermann Sons Lodge # 138 appreciates Blanco and the surrounding communities for helping with their Join Hands project and their Hugs from Home project. The Lodge was able to donate non–perishable food items to the Blanco Good Samaritan Center. Hilary and Mary Huser took the items to the center where they were well received. Stan Steiger met with the Grand Lodge Vice President in charge of Fraternal Activities, Lee Vogel, in San Antonio and donated many items to the Hugs from Home Project.
