Blanco Fifth Grade Class Makes Annual Trek to Corpus Christi
Wednesday, June 2, 2010 • Posted June 1, 2010

This school year’s Blanco Elementary 5th grade students enjoyed participating in the 15th (more or less) annual overnight trip to Port Aransas and Corpus. As usual, they enjoyed observing dolphins and handling sea life netted from the intercostal canal on our 2 hour boat trip. The kids ate at Mr.Gattis Thursday night in Corpus then finished up their trip with a visit to the Texas State Aquarium on Friday before posing for their traditional photo in front of the USS Lexington.

Blanco 5th grade would like to extend their appreciation to the Blanco PTO, Hacienda El Charro and Bertha Rivera for their generous donations. Super S Foods also provided a fantastic deal on 25 cases of water. Thank you as well to all the chaperones and parents that make this annual trip possible.
