Wilma Irene Luersen, 97, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Johnson City. She was born in Wimberley, TX to Leonard Wagner and Annie Mae Champion Wagner.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Silas “Bud” Crossley and Edwin Luersen, sisters, Gladys “Jack” Smith and Neva Ray Wagner, and brother, Leonard “Buddy” Wagner.

She is survived by two daughters, Florine Schlameus of Fredericksburg and Shirley Crofts Elder and husband Tracy of Johnson City; two sons, Jerry Crossley of Haskell, TX and Willie Crossley and Emma of Winters, TX; sister, Faye Spencer of Georgetown, TX; nine grandchildren, Patricia Tanner, Kelly Joe Schlameus, Scott Crofts, Christie Crossley, Laura Crossley, Angie Crossley, Jerry Lee Crossley, Ginger Crossley, and Clayton Crossley; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Crofts Funeral Home in Blanco. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Thursday, June 10, 2010 in the Blanco Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Johnson City Growth Fund, PO Box 848, Johnson City, TX 78636.
