Lavender Festival Welcomes Artists Linda Rauch and Rick Hewitt

Acclaimed painter Linda Rauch and sculptor Rick Hewitt will have their intriguing art on display and for sale at the Uptown Blanco Art Center June 11-13, for Blanco’s 2010 Lavender Festival.

Linda Rauch, originally from New Mexico exhibits in Taos & Santa Fe,

New Mexico-and locally in Fredericksburg. Linda produces brightly colored abstract paintings as well as an exquisite gift line of painted ceramic mugs bursting with renderings of native Texas wildflowers.

Sculptor Rick Hewitt creates fantastic and whimsical copper wind sculptures, vines & spinners. These will also be on display/for sale at the Art Center. Rick is a custom home builder in the Spicewood/Lake Travis area and exhibits throughout the Southwest.

Uptown Blanco Art Center will soon be opening a new art gallery in the Uptown Blanco Art Center and is honored to have Linda Rauch and Rick Hewitt as the first artists exhibiting in the proposed gallery space.
