God Goes from Place to Place in a Body Like All Other Persons
1st Half of Part 5
Wednesday, June 16, 2010 • Posted June 15, 2010

Back to my series "God Is A Spirit". I'm still studying God, and sharing all the Scripture references in my bible. Most of these Scriptures are from the Old Testament. Please check with your pastors and teachers, and stay with the Truth.

Matthew 11:6 "And blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is he who takes no offense at Me and finds no cause for stumbling in or through Me and is not hindered from seeing the Truth."

Because there are so many Scripture references in this series “God is A Spirit” in my attempt to learn more about God, I’m trying not to duplicate Scriptures, so if I’ve already printed them in a previous part of this series, I will indicate it in parentheses and you’ll have to look them up yourself.

Goes from place to place in a body like all other persons (Genesis 3:8 (see part 4); 11:5; 18:1-5, 22, (see part 4) 33; 19:24; 32:24-32; 35:13; Zechariah 14:5; Daniel 7:9-14; Titus 2:13)

Passage Genesis 11:5:

5And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

Passage Genesis 18:33:

33And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

Passage Genesis 19:24:

24Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;

Passage Genesis 32:24-32:

24And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

29And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

30And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

31And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.

32Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank.

Passage Genesis 35:13:

13And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him

Passage Zechariah 14:5:

5And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Passage Daniel 7:9-14:

9I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

10A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

11I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

13I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Passage Titus 2:13:

13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

He has a voice (Psalms 29; Revelations 10:3-4);

Psalm 29

1Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

2Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

4The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

5The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

8The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

10The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

11The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Passage Revelation 10:3-4:

3And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

4And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

Breath (Genesis 2:7); and

Passage Genesis 2:7:

7And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Countenance (Psalms 11:7).

Passage Psalm 11:7:

7For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Remember, Jesus said : Matthew 24:23 "If anyone says to you then, Behold, here is the Christ (the Messiah)! or, There He is!--do not believe it."
