FFA Members Participate in Beltbuckle Bonanza Over 4th of July Weekend - School - Blanco County News

FFA members attending the Beltbuckle Bonanza in Waco over the July 4th weekend include Joanna Delevan, Skylar Itz, Trevor Hardin, and Tyler Hardin.

Top honors go to Tyler Hardin for receiving his jacket from the Texas Junior Livestock Association (TJLA) for finishing in the top ten showers in the State. Hardin finished fourth in the Southdown division in TJLA for the 2009-2010 show year. The Beltbuckle Bonanza is among the top summer shows for TJLA members. Tyler Hardin finished the show with a fourth, fifth, and a sixth place Southdown sheep.

Also placing in the top ten at the show were Joanna Delevan, with a ninth place Southdown, and Trevor Hardin with a sixth and a ninth place crossbred sheep.

Tyler Hardin and Delevan also attended the Summer Kickoff held in Menard, Texas. Hardin placed a first and third, and Delevan wrapped it up with a sixth.
