Ruby Lee Jones, originally of Blanco, Texas, passed away at the age of 90 in her home east of Tucumcari, New Mexico, on Thursday, July 15, 2010. She lived in Blanco for 75 years before moving to Tucumcari, NM with her daughter, Beverly and family.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Del Choate of Tucumcari, NM, granddaughter Jennifer Zachary and husband Miles of Canyon, TX, and grandson, Roland Del Choate. She is also survived by her sister, Lurline Wilson of Dripping Springs, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Arthur Jones.

Visitation was held Sunday, July 18, 2010, at Pennington’s Funeral Home in San Marcos, Texas from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday July 19, 2010, at the Wimberley Cemetery, Wimberley, Texas. Pall Bearers were Roland Del Choate, Miles Zachary, Joe Haas, and Boots Montague.
