I always thought Alice in Wonderland was a strange movie and now, with Tim Burton as the director of the remake, it remains a strange but beautiful movie. I've enjoyed most of Tim Burton's movies and this one is no exception.

The movie opens up with an engagement party for 19 year old Alice, who is unaware that she is about to be proposed to. During the party, she notices a white-gloved rabbit and while standing in front of the entire party being proposed to, she decides to run off and chase after the white-gloved rabbit. While chasing after him, she inevitably falls into a rabbit hole. From there, the movie begins with beautiful animations, gorgeous colors, and of course, the wonderfully creepy Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (two of Burton's favorites I believe). So, get ready to fall down the rabbit hole, Tim Burton style! 3 paws
