On April 30, the Lutheran Church hosted our monthly birthday party for April. Don Shugart was honored with a gift from the Blanco National Bank. Everyone enjoyed cake, ice cream and punch while Darlene Kiernan played the piano and Dorothy Dillon sang old time favorites.

On Monday, May 5, the Blanco Orchestra came to Live Oak Medical Center and played a medley of old favorites and Spanish music in honor of Cinco de Mayo. The program was from 3 pm until 4 pm.

On May 8, the Methodist Church Group hosted the Birthday Party for May. Birthday Honorees were Annie Carvajal, Gertrude Evans, Ruth Guioco and Ida Crow. Gifts were delivered by Rebecca Howerton from the Blanco National Bank for our birthday honorees. Darlene Kiernan played the piano while Dorothy Dillon and Mary Ann Hoffman sang. Everyone enjoyed Dorothy Troppey cakes with ice cream and punch.
