Dear Loyal Readers:
Frank Leblanc, out in his pretty new fishing boat with his lovely wife, Dana, caught a FISH! A real live fish - it was a catch-and-release sort of thing, although it (the fish, not the boat) was fourteen inches long. At least that’s what Frank said, but we ladies know men and their “fish stories.” I mean to ask Dana if it was really a bluegill :)
School is fast approaching, so get into your “watch for kids” driving mode. They will be out en masse next week.
Go dancing at Albert this weekend - Gary P. Nunn will be playing, and I will be there... I am not too sure which one of us is more important
And not only is Gary P. Nunn playing - it’s time once again for the Blanco County Fair! Go see who wins the crown this year; will it be Blanco or Johnson City? Tough choice for the judges...
Don’t forget - the Old Blanco County Courthouse Gala is right around the corner, as is the Chamber of Commerce First Annual Golf Tournament. Those of you who don’t golf can just come hang out and have fun with Penny and me
Charles (our former editor) and his bride of over a year, Rachelle, have bought a house in Blanco and are going to be entertaining quite soon!
A shout out to Ada Cooley!
Happy Trails, and somewhere, sometime, a good time will be had by all!
