Wendy M. Watson recently placed third in the Professional Floral category at the Heart of Ohio Tole Conference in Columbus, Ohio. The art show consists of entries painted by registered conference attendees. Attendees can enter one item per category within their appropriate division. Divisions are: Non-professional, Professional, and Educator. Within each division there are Landscape, Still Life, Floral, Animal, People, Stroke/Folk Art, Theme, and Seasonal categories. Registered attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorites - one per category in each division. First, second, and third place ribbons are then awarded in each category as are Best of show ribbons within the three divisions.

Wendy teaches decorative painting classes in her home studio in Blanco. Registration for fall classes at Wendy’s Red Door Painting Studio start on Sunday, August 29, with an Open House from 2-4 pm.
