On August 2, 2010, Blanco Mayor Chuck Homan received notification from TCEQ regarding an investigation conducted on July 12, 2010 of the City of Blanco Water System at 1015 Fulcher Street, Blanco.

The letter stated that Lawrence King of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Austin Region Office conducted an investigation of the City of Blanco Water System facility to evaluate compliance with applicable requirements for public drinking water systems.

Lawrence King completed a Comprehensive Compliance Investigation (CCI) during which he reviewed plant operations and maintenance records, monitoring reports and all other pertinent documents required by state and federal regulations for public drinking water systems. A physical inspection of the water treatment plant and the distribution facilities was also conducted. Mr. King noted that no violations were observed during the CCI.

The last investigation was done on July 7, 2005 when a complaint was filed against the City of Blanco Water System due to documented low pressure in the Cielo Springs Subdivision.
